Annie Lee, who just turned 10, started playing piano at the age of 5, and studies under the direction of Zhengyu Chen. Prior to studying with her current piano professor, she also studied privately with Yuanyuan Lu.

Annie’s piano playing is exciting, and showcases her musical talent, sensitivity and curiosity where she captivates her audience’s attention. Her music is known to be musically expressive and authentic. Annie has won top honors and scholarships in numerous local, provincial and national music festivals and competitions. She is considered a junior rising star with her latest performance of Haydn’s Concerto no.11 in D Major, 1st movement. She won first prize at the 2024 Ontario Provincials concerto group age 9 to 10 years old, and third place as a soloist. Her talent was also discovered and recognized by the jury panel at the 2024 OMNI Concours.

Apart from piano, Annie plays percussion in her elementary school band, which won third place among other schools at the 2024 provincials. She also loves dancing, figure-skating, drawing, and making arts and crafts. More importantly, Annie likes to meet new friends and spend quality time with her friends.
