Cecilia Chow is a concert pianist celebrated for her deep musicality, exceptional technique, and captivating stage presence. Her performances have earned critical acclaim and garnered a dedicated following, as she continues to enchant audiences worldwide with her mesmerizing interpretations.

Born into a musical family, Chow discovered her passion for the piano early in life. Under the guidance of distinguished mentors, including Michael Berkovsky, Evelyne Brancart, Sylvia Wang, Alan Chow, Ann Schein, and Rebecca Penneys, she developed her extraordinary technical abilities and musicality.

Chow's pursuit of artistic excellence has led her to prestigious music festivals across Canada, Europe, and the United States, including Orford Musique, Gijón International Piano Festival, Aspen, Bowdoin, Miami, and the Amalfi Coast. Recently, she held the position of artist-in-residence at the Porto Pianofest, where she presented a Chopin program at the CARA Matosinhos. Other musicians with whom she occasionally works to refine her artistry include Jean Saulnier, James Anagnoson, James Giles, José Mendez, the Ying Quartet, and the Dover Quartet.

Chow holds an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School, a Master of Music from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music. She recently completed a second Artist Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music's Glenn Gould School under the tutelage of John Perry and David Louie.

Chow’s exceptional talent has been recognized with numerous awards and scholarships, including the Leo Barkin Memorial, Jessie Blake, Violet Green, Oscar Peterson, Ronald J. Raymer, Women’s Art Association of Canada – Jill Maynard, Howard Hanson Tuition, and Avis D. Vaughan scholarships.
