Liam Leduc began his journey as a classical pianist at the age of 14. Despite this relatively late start in June 2021, Liam's exceptional talent and dedication have allowed him to progress through the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) levels at an astonishing pace. Within just two years, he completed RCM Grade 6 by Fall 2021, Grade 8 by Spring 2022, and Grade 10 by Summer 2023, reflecting his intense commitment and natural aptitude.

Since December 2021, Liam has had the privilege of studying under the esteemed Sergei Pavlov, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping Liam’s musical development. His studies have not been confined to solo piano; in the summer of 2022, Liam attended the Music at Port Milford summer camp, where he expanded his musical experience by participating in chamber music ensembles, including two piano trios, quartet, and quintet.

Liam's rapid progress and dedication have also been recognized in the competitive arena. In 2023, he competed in the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival and the Pickering Rotary Music Festival, where he was awarded Best in Class at the Toronto Kiwanis. This achievement led to his advancement to the Ontario Musical Festival Association competition, where he earned an impressive 2nd place at the Grade 10 level. Building on this success, Liam has continued to excel in 2024, competing at the ARCT level in both the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival and the Durham Showcase. His outstanding performance at the Durham Showcase earned him the opportunity to advance to the regional level.

Liam's continues to refine his technique and expand his repertoire. He remains eager to explore new opportunities for growth under the tutelage of accomplished teachers and in prestigious competitions. Liam looks forward to continuing his musical journey with the same passion and dedication that has brought him this far.
