Victoria Zeng is a dedicated pianist studying with Lang-Ning Liu at the Phil and Eli Taylor Academy of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is passionate about her craft, and enjoys exploring and broadening her perspectives within all facets of music.
She has had the opportunity of working with many renowned piano pedagogues, including Vladimir Feltsman, Pavlina Dokovska, Dina Yoffe, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Edward Auer, Stanislav Ioudenitch, and John O’Conor, among others. Victoria has participated in many festivals and programs, including the Frost Chopin Festival, Vivace Music Festival, Mannes Summer Piano festival, and the Oberlin Piano Festival. Victoria has acquired numerous accolades from many international competitions, most notably the Hartford Chopin Competition, Music International Grand Prix, the Classical Stars International Music Competition, DVO-HAALSA Young Musician Competition, Unionville Music Competition, CMC National Competition, and OYMI Competition.
2024 sees performances at Carnegie hall, the Meridian Arts Center with Sinfonia Toronto, and a performance with the Dundas Valley Orchestra in their upcoming concert season. Victoria is the current pianist of the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Westmount Jazz Ensemble. Previously, she studied with teachers Alexei Gulenco, and Tanya Gernburd.
Outside of her musical pursuits, she enjoys going skiing, taking pictures, and is an avid mindfulness enthusiast.
